Last year saw some changes at the ranch. Our dear caretaker, Mike, who has been a fixture for many years, moved into his house in Hot Sulphur in September. While I was working on renovating his house, I took a serious tumble and ended up in hospital, forcing us to cancel all the remaining 2023 reservations. If you were unable to come last year because of my accident, please accept my sincere apologies. I’ve been up since New Years and am relearning to walk after shattering my heel and do surely hope we might see you next summer.
The work is done, the ranch is looking great and we have a wonderful new couple as caretakers.
Camren and Avory love Grand County, horses, donkeys, barn cats, dogs, riding and being at the ranch. We welcome them and expect you will enjoy feeding their new generation of horses (and Mr. Donkey) carrots and other treats. Camren is a local Grand County boy and is a diesel mechanic/snow plower/bus driver for the County as well as having been a maintenance man for various ranches in the area. Avory, his lovely and lively fiancé, is a teacher in Grand County and has worked as head housekeeper at some of the local guest ranches. These two bring enthusiasm along with their many skills and youth and we look forward to many seasons with them.
If you would like to make a reservation, our rates and policies are the same: $275 for two people, $25 for every additional person or pet, and a $250 cleaning fee, plus tax. Three-day minimum stay.
